Sukuk
Sukuk are financial instruments used in financial transfers between individuals and institutions, where the issuer issues them to transfer specific amounts of money from one person's account to another. The types of sukuk vary according to their objectives and methods of use, including standard sukuk, certified sukuk, electronic sukuk, and travel sukuk.
Sukuk Types:
First: The Ordinary Check:
An ordinary check is a standard document that serves as a check issued by the check issuer to the beneficiary, who can cash it for the amount specified in the check after verifying the details.
Second: The Certified Check:
A certified or guaranteed check is a check issued by order of the bank account holder to the bank, deducting the check amount from their account until the check's maturity date. It is certified and guaranteed for the benefit of the check holder until its due date.
Third: The Electronic Check:
The electronic clearing system facilitates the exchange of electronic checks among participating local banks within the country. The electronic check system allows for the collection of the check on the same day it is approved, enabling the client to withdraw or transfer the amount the following day. This service covers all branches and agencies of the banks.
Fourth: The Traveler's Check:
A traveler’s check is issued by banks for individuals traveling, providing them with the necessary liquidity while traveling and simultaneously protecting their money from loss or theft during the trip. With this check, the traveler can go to the bank and cash it upon arrival in the target country.
